Our kennel is located in the beautiful port city of Lithuania — Klaipėda. Velnio malūnas name was registered in the Lithuanian Cynological Society about 18 years ago, when we were admiring the German Shepherd breed. The translation of our kennel name to english means Devil‘s mill. This magical name came from the pagan belief in Lithuanian folklore, mythological legends and fairy tales where the devil attempts to seduce a human to abduct his soul. Our beloved four-legged friends have a very similar behaviour – they come to a humans’ life and immediately steal their hearts 🙂 …for many years, my heart has belonged to the free spirited and stunningly beautiful – the wolves.
